The American Diabetes Association published criteria for T2D remission in 2021, but how many patients know remission is possible? Representing a combined 55 years of clinical practice, Drs. Klaper and Burns of the non-profit Moving Medicine Forward will delve into the physiology of food as it relates to the promotion, prevention and remission of T2D. Every person with T2D deserves to know they can plausibly achieve remission through eating patterns as delicious as they are healthy. This presentation will empower clinicians and diabetes care and education specialists to effectively communicate that message.
